Remote Call Center Representative
Our call center associates are members of a supportive team. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences for our customers and clients. We are looking for people with a passion for helping others, who are naturally empathetic and determined to deliver a comprehensive solution to these Supplemental benefits-related calls. Customer service experience is a plus but not required to be successful in this role.
Salary: The starting pay rate is $16.32 an hour.
Benefits and schedule: Paid time off accrues after 180 days (about 6 months) of employment. Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) are available on the 1st of employment. Fully work from home. Hours of Operation: 24/7.
Role responsibilities
- Navigate 12-13 systems and handle an average of 30-40 calls per day.
- Answer claims inquiries or debit card denials; respond to questions about documentation requested from members.
- Assist with website usage, registration, and forgotten usernames/passwords/lockouts.
- Support members with placing Commuter Orders and with balance inquiries.
- Handle inquiries about eligible expenses, Plan Year deadlines, and making or missing Contributions for HSAs.
- Manage member account closures, transfers, or rollovers; update member profiles (address, phone, etc.).
- Provide information on tax forms and assist with setting up distributions from HSAs or opening new HSAs.
- Answer questions about rewards and online navigation.
- Assist with general usage questions and troubleshooting.
Requirements for Remote Call Center Representative
- Complete a customer service assessment and typing test on a computer (not compatible with mobile devices).
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree.
- At least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Complete a mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance.
- Successful completion of a background check (including education and previous employment verification).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
Work environment and equipment
- We provide all equipment (computer, monitor, mouse, keyboard, headset, ethernet cord, power cables).
- Home internet connection required with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
- Must hardwire the work computer to the home modem via ethernet; satellite or wireless internet not acceptable.
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace required during working hours.
