Overview

Child Support Call Center Agent role at Conduent. This is a full-time, onsite position in Hamilton, NJ.

Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Typical pay notes

A typing survey/assessment is required after application submission. The stated pay includes potential variations based on bilingual capabilities: $17.50/hr (Non-Bilingual) and $18.50/hr (Bilingual Spanish and English).

Responsibilities

• Inbound Call Center – respond to telephone inquiries using approved procedures while maintaining call quality and integrity.
• Answer questions on child support payments history and account histories.
• Reset personal identification for callers unable to self-serve in the IVR system.
• Gather information, research inquiries, and document calls appropriately.
• Read and interpret documents on file; retain and relay information accurately.
• Respond professionally to escalated calls and communicate resolution options promptly.
• Review customer needs and inform customers of services and resources available.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Background and drug screening required
• Typing 30 WPM
• Ability to operate dual monitors and navigate multiple software applications
• 2 years of call center / customer service experience
• Able to work onsite in Hamilton, NJ

Training and schedule

Training is 7 weeks, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday. After training, hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm or 8:30 pm–5:00 pm.
