Shift: 12H Nights EOW, nights, first to float Department: LDRP RN *Certifications Required: BLS, NRP, AWHONN intermediate (advanced preferred), STABLE L&D Beds: 7 L&D- # of Postpartum beds: 12 Postpartum, 8 Surgical- # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 1 C-Section dedicated OR, 2 GYN surgical OR- # of Triage beds: 3 bay triage (avg 17 patients/ month) allow travelers to triage based on experience - # of Births per day Month Year: Annually 643- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios L&D: 1:1-2, Postpartum: 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Obstetric, L&D, antepartum, triage, postpartum MgSo4, pre E Pregnancy, accept 23+ weeks; Gestational hypertension, Gestational diabetes, No cardiac intervention- they will take occasional higher risk patients, Post partum vaginal and c-section deliveries, hysterectomy, bladder repairs, mastectomies- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 3yrs experience
