Job Description: The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking a Customer Service Representative 3 (CSR 3) to join their Taxpayer Services team. This is a customer-facing, in-person role focused on licensing and payment processing. The CSR 3 will directly receive, process, and apply payments for all tax types (cash, checks, debit/credit cards, money orders) to personal or business taxpayer accounts. Daily responsibilities include reconciliation and end-of-day balancing of assigned billing.

The role also involves assisting taxpayers, processing license applications and updates, and providing guidance on licensing laws, rules, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and process payments accurately.

Reconcile daily transactions and balance billing accounts.

Assist taxpayers with questions regarding licenses and procedures.

Process license applications and updates.

Maintain professionalism and compliance with all policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

2+ years of customer service experience.

1+ year working in a high-production environment.

Experience with cash handling.

Proficiency in Google Suite.

Basic math and Excel experience.

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual (Spanish)
