Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Support Engineer (L2/L3) to serve as the primary onsite technical authority for their Lebanon, New Hampshire office. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, strong expertise in Cisco networking and AV technologies, Zoom administration, and a solid understanding of security best practices. Acting as the go-to resource for end-user support, network/AV maintenance, and office IT infrastructure, you will work independently while collaborating with remote IT teams to ensure smooth operations for all employees.
Base pay range
$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including escalations from L1.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with Windows/macOS, Office 365, VPN, Exchange, and MFA systems.
- Manage ServiceNow tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco video conferencing systems and Zoom Rooms, ensuring high-quality user experience.
- Support and configure Cisco networking equipment, including switches, routers, and wireless APs.
- Ensure endpoint security with antivirus, patches, encryption, and troubleshoot VPN/firewall access issues.
- Serve as the sole onsite IT authority for the Lebanon, NH office, collaborating with remote teams and driving process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of IT support or systems engineering experience, with strong L2/L3 troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Windows/macOS administration, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and VPN technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment and AV solutions.
- Knowledge of security tools and best practices, including MFA and endpoint protection.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work independently.
- Experience with macOS device management tools (Jamf, VMware Workspace ONE, or AirWatch).
- Prior experience supporting Zoom Rooms and Cisco Webex conferencing environments.
- Previous experience in a sole-site IT support role is highly preferred.
