*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and patient education. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive experience for every patient while maintaining the highest standards of dental practice.
Very busy practice, 8 ops, lots of new patients, and all of the latest equipment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
* Provide a range of dental services, including restorative, preventive, and pediatric dentistry.
* Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and medical history using Epic or similar systems.
* Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
* Active dental license to practice dentistry in the state of Michigan.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
* Commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner
* 5-8 years experience required
