Overview

SQL Data Analyst role in New York, NY at Top Level Consultancy. This is a full-time position (W2-Permanent, or W2-Contract option).

Key Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of datasets
• Work with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer business questions
• Document queries, processes, and data models for future use

Additional Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets using statistical methods
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process and business improvements
• Use Ab Initio software for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant IT Software experience
• US Citizen, Green Card, H4, L2, STEM, or OPT status
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Ab Initio software
• Experience with data models and reporting packages
• Ability to analyze large datasets and write comprehensive reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and skills
