Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted beverages and ensuring food quality and freshness.
• Follow state and federal food safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by maintaining an inviting store environment and prioritizing guests’ needs.
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, in-stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing.
• Maintain awareness of current and future promotions within Starbucks and Target.
• Support the Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to exceed expectations according to Starbucks standards.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and foods to recipe specifications; monitor and record temperature-sensitive items per best practices.
• Complete cleaning tasks and ensure proper storage of reserve product; identify damaged, recalled or expired items and handle according to best practices.
• Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders and follow perishable inventory procedures.
• Assist with sampling, and be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve guest questions and improve experiences.
• Complete required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products; demonstrate safety and compliance and report hazards.
• Work safely at all times and comply with safety policies, training, and store procedures.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while adhering to applicable laws.
• Greet guests, assist with needs, and thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties as needed based on business needs.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience is welcome but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly; attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.

Basic Requirements & Expectations

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to -10°F and in environments with common allergens.
• Capable of remaining mobile for the duration of a shift; Drive-Up, carryout, etc., may involve varying temperatures and conditions.
