Up to $1,500 hiring bonus upon hire in a Public Health Department High Desert assignment. The Department of Public Health is recruiting for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN II), who prepare patients for procedures; assist medical staff with treatments and procedures; and provide health education, referrals and resources to patients. Duties include providing basic nursing care to patients; assisting physicians and registered nurses with a variety of procedures; conducting home visits to interview patients; and providing education and training for medical providers.
