About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead its people strategy and drive the organization's human capital initiatives in alignment with long-term business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for all HR functions, including workforce planning, succession planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, and performance and talent management. This executive role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in enhancing and engaging company culture to achieve optimal results. The VP of HR will work closely with the President and senior leadership to formulate business growth strategies, champion a values-driven culture, and ensure that HR policies and practices meet all regulatory and legal requirements. Candidates for the VP of HR position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of leadership experience in all HR functions, with a preference for those with a background in distribution and/or manufacturing. The role demands a self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to be a true business partner and trusted advisor. Experience in managing others, leading HR initiatives at all organizational levels, and a proven track record of building strong, effective teams are essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in acquisition activities and be able to think strategically while addressing tactical and operational issues. Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills are a must, as is the ability to travel domestically.
