Job Title: Customer Service Lead/Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Lead to oversee customer account operations and ensure a seamless order management process. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, managing a small team of customer service representatives, and serving as a liaison between sales, operations, and customers. The Customer Service Lead will also support marketing, warranty administration, and product information requests, while ensuring excellent service delivery from order entry through final invoicing.

Location: Mount Prospect, IL Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm on-site daily Pay Rate: $70,000-$90,000

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update customer account information in the ERP system, including billing details, pricing, payment terms, and freight requirements Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information, order updates, and issue resolution Prepare and oversee customer quotations, freight estimates, shipping notifications, acknowledgements, and invoicing instructions Review and verify customer purchase orders for accuracy, ensuring compliance with pricing, terms, and shipping requirements Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, process credit references, and request credit limits as needed Coordinate outbound freight with carriers, including quoting, scheduling, and directing invoicing Track, monitor, and follow up on open quotations, reporting sales activity on a weekly and monthly basis Support warranty claim processing and manage documentation for repairs or replacements Assist in compiling large orders, coordinating delivery schedules with production, and updating customers on order status Manage customer portals for EDI transactions, forecasts, acknowledgements, and required reporting Provide administrative support for marketing activities, including literature updates, website content coordination, and trade show support Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between customers, sales, and internal teams Qualifications

Associate degree or higher preferred; equivalent professional experience considered 8–12 years of progressive experience in customer service, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused demeanor ERP system experience required; Sage 100 or similar preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with graphic design software (Adobe, Corel, or Publisher) a plus Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferredContact Information About Trova Advisory Group Trova Advisory Group specializes in delivering a comprehensive array of staffing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses across various sectors.
