Overview
Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate. You will be part of a team focused on sales success in a retail store, with opportunities to grow your career and develop your skills in customer service and technology solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
- Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
- Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
- Close sales by using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
- Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
- Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
- Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events.
Compensation and Benefits
We’re hiring immediately. Compensation ranges from base pay to commissions, with potential total earnings depending on geography, hours, and performance. The starting base pay rate for the location listed is $18.27 per hour, with the potential to earn commissions up to higher totals.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll Need To Have
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience (work experience and/or military experience)
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance)
- openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Experience in a commission-based environment
- Demonstrated sales experience and customer solutions focus
- Customer service experience
