Overview of the Senior Accountant role

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations
• Assist with tax filings, audits, and financial forecasting
• Manage budgeting and expense tracking processes
• Review and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Preferred qualifications for the Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
