Overview
Our Newest Opportunity: The Director of Human Resources is a key leader for Resourcing Edge, responsible for overseeing and managing the HR responsibilities for a fast-growing, highly acquisitive organization. They work closely with functional business leaders and the Corporate People & Culture team to ensure best practices in human resource management. The Director reports to the EVP of Strategy, Growth and Transformation and provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for OneDigital | Resourcing Edge's internal Human Resources function. This role partners with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives, drive employee engagement, and ensure regulatory compliance. They manage and develop the HR team while serving as a strategic business partner to leadership across all organizational levels. They are responsible for overseeing core HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, talent management, employee relations, and HR operations.
This is a full-time position based onsite at our regional HQ in Rockwall, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Develops and implements comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives
- Partners with executive leadership to provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
- Analyzes workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations
Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Acts as a liaison with OneDigital Corporate HR in the development and maintenance of employee policies and procedures
- Oversees complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensures compliance with employment laws, EEOC guidelines, and regulatory requirements (IRS, FMLA, HIPAA, ERISA, ADA, OSHA, FLSA, COBRA, etc.)
- Participates with the Corporate Compliance teams in various audit processes for required reporting and filings as required by regulatory agencies
General/Leadership
- Acts as a liaison with OneDigital’s HR Ops, Talent Management and Benefits teams
- Works collaboratively with the OneDigital Corporate Talent and HR teams on the employee separation process for both voluntary/involuntary terminations
- Directly manages three HR team members: Two HRBPs and a Senior Recruiter
- Establishes individual and team goals, performance standards, and accountability measures
- Builds team capabilities and cross-functional expertise across HR disciplines
- Ensures seamless coordination between HRBP, payroll/benefits, and talent management functions
Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in leadership role
- Experience leading HR teams with specialized functions (payroll/benefits, business partnering, talent management)
- Experience with employment law, payroll and benefits administration in multi-state environment
- Proven track record of building and leading cross-functional HR teams
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and serving as strategic business partner
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or similar industry
- Background in mergers, acquisitions, or rapid growth environments: ideal candidate has growth from 500-1000 employees
- Experience with Workday a plus

Compensation, Benefits, and Policies
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
