Job Title: Cleaning Technician – Surgery Facility (Granger, IN)

Pay: $14.00/hr + $0.50/hr attendance bonus

Job Description: Jack Laurie Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in Granger, IN. This position involves working in a medical environment—specifically a surgery center—where cleanliness and sanitation are critical. Primary areas of responsibility include surgery rooms, exam rooms, and other patient care spaces.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30pm-10:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform terminal cleaning of surgical suites and exam rooms
• Safely and properly clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and floors
• Remove trash and medical waste following safety protocols
• Restock consumables such as hand soap, paper towels, and sanitizer
• Handle bio-materials using proper protective equipment and procedures
• Follow detailed cleaning checklists and adhere to infection control standards
• Communicate any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor promptly

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict cleaning protocols
• Comfort working in medical/surgical environments
• Ability to handle bio-material and medical-grade cleaning products safely
• Reliability and punctuality are a must
• Must pass background check
• Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
