SALARY The minimum salary is
$68,303.04 annually. This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours. Pay Grade 524

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The purpose of this classification is to develop and maintain data strategies, security and structures by identifying, documenting, integrating and producing actionable information and coordinating the sharing of that information in a way that will best benefit end users.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
Two (2) years of related experience
Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create and maintain database structures, documentation, data integrity and security
Lead internal/external meetings with vendors and users
Develop reports and basic applications for both back-end and front-end systems
Develop best-practice documentation and training for users to interact with data, reports, and applications
Assist in the design and testing of new applications and respond to Help Desk Tickets specific to areas of expertise
Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS All positions require drug testing, background check and polygraph before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16
