Job Summary: Supermicro is looking for a highly experienced, successful and proven Sr. Account Manager to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions and expand the Federal Government sector, with a focus on key technology areas such asAI/ML, Storage, and Enterprise Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter, skilled at identifying and securing new opportunities within Federal agencies and government-related organizations including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

* Develop net new customers in targeted verticals and industries * Hunt, qualify and close new opportunities; create target lists for target markets * Develop relationships, communicate product and market information * Develop superior relationships with prospects * Consistently achieve leads and quotas * Produce reports as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar fields preferred

4+ years of sales experience preferably selling server and storage offerings

Track record of sales to Federal Agencies (Civilian, DoD, Intel) is preferred

Understanding of the Government IT acquisition process.

Solid understanding of the partner ecosystem that exists within the Federal Government including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers.

Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines; demonstrated communication skills-written, verbal and presentation skills

Experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity

Multi-task and time management skills are essential

Willingness to Travel

Salary Range $105,000- $118,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
