Overview
Supermicro is looking for a highly experienced Sr. Account Manager to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions and expand the Federal Government sector, with a focus on AI/ML, Storage, and Enterprise Infrastructure. The candidate will be a strategic hunter, skilled at identifying and securing new opportunities within Federal agencies and government-related organizations including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers. Responsibilities
Develop net new customers in targeted verticals and industries Hunt, qualify and close new opportunities; create target lists for target markets Develop relationships, communicate product and market information Develop superior relationships with prospects Consistently achieve leads and quotas Produce reports as necessary Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or similar fields preferred 4+ years of sales experience preferably selling server and storage offerings Track record of sales to Federal Agencies (Civilian, DoD, Intel) is preferred Understanding of the Government IT acquisition process. Solid understanding of the partner ecosystem that exists within the Federal Government including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers. Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines; demonstrated communication skills-written, verbal and presentation skills Experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity Multi-task and time management skills are essential Willingness to Travel US Citizen Salary Range
$105,000- $118,000 EEO Statement
