Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite in St. Louis, MO

Type: 6-month Contract

Compensation: $60/hr-$70/hr

Our client is an established, leading FinTech company that is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team. This is a unique role in which you'll utilize your data analysis/manipulation, scripting/automation, enterprise systems, and visualization skills to drive and affect excellence in Software Development Operations.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Processing, analyzing, and synthesizing disparate data
• Identifying opportunities for improvement
• Developing action plans in collaboration with Product Leaders
• Supporting development teams as action plans are implemented

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

• 2+ years of experience with SQL to extract and analyze data
• 2+ years of Python experience for scripting, automation, and/or data manipulation
• Familiarity with Java for data processing and/or interacting with enterprise systems
• Experience with Visualization utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI and/or Looker
• Knowledgeable of public cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP
