The Graduate Admission Coordinator will provide coordination and administrative support to the graduate enrollment operations. The individual in this role will process and document graduate application materials, admission decisions, and ensure the integrity of student record data for all programs under the umbrella of the Graduate School and Graduate School of Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Process daily application materials received in Slate and maintain student application checklists.

2. Assist with managing the general admission email inboxes. Assign and forward emails to appropriate contacts, respond to general email inquiries, and notify applicants of their application status.

3. Send admission and financial aid decisions in Slate and update student enrollment status in PeopleSoft.

4. Process GPA calculations for international student transcript evaluations.

5. Process daily application downloads for degree, non-degree, temporary, and conditional students in a timely manner. Manually enter and process applications for specifically identified groups.

6. Maintain test score data integrations from Slate to PeopleSoft (GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL).

7. Coordinate with the Office of the Registrar for the creation of institution ID's for newly identified schools.

8. Assist in the development of new procedures and workflows to aid in the streamlining of the admissions process and office efficiencies. Create process documentation for admission staff including how-to guides.

9. Manage application processing for the Inter-University Exchange Program.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High school diploma

At least one year of related experience.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records and information.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.

Ability to focus on the details of a project or task.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to solve problems.

Knowledge of and willingness to support Marquette's Catholic, Jesuit mission.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's degree.

Experience working in various student information systems, Slate, PeopleSoft.
