Staffmark is hiring a Human Resources Representative to join a growing team in Lafayette! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and training.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage new hire offer letters and position change documentation

Oversee onboarding processes, including I-9s, background checks, references, and employment verifications

Conduct new hire orientations (in person and virtually via Zoom/Teams)

Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and Excel

Coordinate employee training sessions and travel arrangements

Handle employee inquiries and resolve conflicts with professionalism

Support offboarding and termination processes

Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Director

Qualifications

Previous HR experience required (not entry-level)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of HR systems (UKG or ADP preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment
