Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift checklists and report times with merchandise returns.
• Use and maintain OF device as required.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to move, gather, distribute, or ship.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Keep grounds and warehouse neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements related to regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• 6 months warehouse experience including forklift operation preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.

Requirements

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouse and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The goal is to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships.

• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
