Immediate Opening – Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Miller Waxler LLP is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide part-time support and assistance to its attorneys and staff. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic law firm of thirteen attorneys that prioritizes teamwork and the delivery of high-quality legal representation to the firm’s clients.

Responsibilities

  • Providing front office support, including greeting clients and guests.
  • Preparing conference room for depositions and/or meetings.
  • Sending and receiving deliveries and tracking related costs.
  • Processing mail.
  • Maintaining inventory and supplies.
  • Maintaining common areas of firm and building.
  • Data entry into software platforms as needed.
  • Arranging meal deliveries as needed.
  • General support for staff as needed, including scanning and copying.

Qualifications

  • College degree or current college enrollment in college or university.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience at a law firm or similar work environment preferred.

Location

The location for this position is Downtown Los Angeles. The firm also has an office in Brentwood which may require visits on occasion.

Compensation

Expected compensation is approximately $20/hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications.
