Overview

POSITION OBJECTIVES: To be part of a team as an Administrative Assistant who has exceptional computer skills and knowledge to provide accurate, efficient, and timely administrative support. To be able to work in a fast-paced environment with many tasks ongoing. To be supportive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the Association and its members.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance as requested, based on availability and priorities of responsibilities, to entire staff
  • Work closely with CFO to coordinate bank deposits, AP, AR, and budgeting
  • Database development and management, including the initial set-up events for entry of reservations and other event details to be completed by the responsible staff members, data entry and processing, and all regular updates
  • Maintaining and processing of all database requests
  • Helping to coordinate Association events, including but not limited to: managing reservations and attendee lists; preparing all event materials and nametags; setting up for events, handling registrations; tracking walk-ins and no shows; invoicing/handling payments as necessary
  • Monthly updates of meeting calendar
  • Coordination of BAGI Board of Directors meetings, including: board meeting preparation; board monitoring reports and policies; election process; meeting minutes
  • General administrative assistance to CEO as requested
  • Assistance and coordination of scholarship program with BAGI CEO
  • Coordination of general equipment maintenance for all office equipment
  • Coordination and ordering of all office supplies
  • Front desk and telephone coverage

Salary Range: $44k-$54k based on experience
