Overview
Seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to work closely with both business users and the IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of SQL (beyond just writing queries) who can collaborate with business teams to learn operational processes and support running production and fulfill ad-hoc data requests. The candidate will then design and implement scalable, database-driven processes to improve efficiency, repeatability, and accuracy. The ideal candidate thrives in a production focused environment, is detail-oriented and curious, and takes initiative in identifying root causes and preventing recurring issues. This role will also contribute to building front-end tools that enable business users to run IT-designed processes.

Seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to work closely with both business users and the IT team. This role will also contribute to building front-end tools that enable business users to run IT-designed processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work directly with business teams to understand recurring operational processes, perform hands on tasks for knowledge transfer, and redesign workflows using SQL database solutions
- Analyze and improve business processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions that boost efficiency, repeatability, and data accuracy
- Develop and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines into SQL Server, eliminating manual Excel based workflows
- Deliver accurate, client-facing reports and data visualizations
- Monitor for process gaps and recurring issues, and proactively design solutions to reduce errors and support operational stability
- Support the buildout of our Node.js-based web application platform, contributing to both frontend user interfaces and back-end functionality
- Create and maintain clear documentation for process improvements, production procedures, and system changes to support knowledge sharing and continuity
- Work with a modern stack of tools and platforms, including:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL (complex querying and data modeling)
- Advanced Excel (VBA and Power Query)
- Experience with Python for data transformation, automation scripting
- Experience in Node.js and frameworks like Bootstrap or basic React is preferred
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of analytics experience, ideally within financial services or fund administration
- Background in credit, direct lending, commercial banking, or fund administration preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines and ad-hoc reports reliably
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; a curious mindset with a drive to improve systems and prevent repeat issues
- Willingness to work full-time onsite in Boca Raton, FL
