ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE: The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

Role

As a Starbucks Barista, you will provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests and support Target and Starbucks standards, while delivering quality handcrafted beverages and food. You may support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations, prioritizing guest needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards.
• Execute processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, in-stocks, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and backstock.
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities and ensure accurate in-store implementation.
• Follow routines to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and food safety.
• Support the Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations per Starbucks standards.
• Produce items to specifications and follow department routines; monitor and record temperature-sensitive items as outlined in best practices; complete cleaning tasks; follow packaging and labeling guidelines; follow food safety requirements.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practices; ensure accurate in-stocks and perishable inventory procedures.
• Engage with guests, solve issues, and be knowledgeable about tools, products and services available in the total store.
• Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control; demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and identify hazards.
• Support guest services and maintain compliance with federal, state and local adult beverage laws where applicable.
• All other duties based on business needs.
