Dental Assistant

Are you a dental professional passionate about providing high-quality care to your community? Looking for a supportive team and meaningful work? The HealthCare Connection may be the perfect fit for you! We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant with a professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills to join our Mt. Healthy and Lincoln Heights Health Center locations. This role is critical in supporting dental operations and delivering a positive, comfortable patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
  • Provide chairside assistance to the Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and/or EFDA
  • Record exam findings and maintain accurate documentation
  • Monitor sterilization cycles and follow infection control protocols
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure clinical readiness
  • Support patient flow and clinic operations
  • Assist with various dental procedures as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • Ohio Radiographer's License (required)
  • Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent on-the-job training
  • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Familiarity with dental infection control standards (OSHA, CDC, ADA)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn electronic dental record systems
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and open to supervision
