AR/Collections Specialist
to join our team in Windsor , CT.

What is an AR/Collections Specialist?
The Accounts Receivable/Collection Specialist primary responsibility will be to make collection calls to customers, post and reconcile payments using various software programs and mail monthly statements. Establishing relationships with clients is critical to pursue payments and post them on accounts.
What will a typical day look like for you? Make daily collection calls Conduct account research and analysis Accurately post payments to customer accounts using ABS Reconcile and resolve account discrepancies Maintain spreadsheets using strict confidence with customer credit card information and check-by-phone information Send statements to customers with outstanding balances Interact with customers to resolve pending issues Provide customer service to customer inquiries regarding payment history Print monthly aging and post results Sort and file documents after posting

Qualifications
High school diploma required, or GED Minimum 2 years' experience with AR or Collections Must have good basic math skills Speedy and accurate data entry experience Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Basic accounting principles knowledge
