Job Overview – Accounts Payable & Accounting Analyst (Temporary):
Compensation: $35/hour
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Support finance operations as an Accounts Payable & Accounting Analyst with our client in Greenwich, CT (Temporary). In this temporary role, you will process vendor invoices, manage ACH and wire payments, and assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Maintain financial records in QuickBooks, review T&E reports, and prepare internal reports for stakeholders, using Excel, QuickBooks, and Concur for accurate transaction processing and reporting.

Support finance operations as an Accounts Payable & Accounting Analyst with our client in Greenwich, CT (Temporary). In this temporary role, you will process vendor invoices, manage ACH and wire payments, and assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Responsibilities as the Accounts Payable & Accounting Analyst:
- Invoice & Payment Processing: Process vendor invoices and prepare bi-weekly ACH/wire payments.
- Vendor Management: Perform vendor onboarding and due diligence, including W-8/W-9 collection and banking verification.
- Transaction Recording: Record corporate card and daily bank transactions and monitor ACH/check activities.
- Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for general ledger and bank accounts.
- Reporting & Audit Support: Generate financial reports and support audits, tax filings, and ad hoc projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-5 years of accounting and/or accounts payable experience, including hands-on work with invoice processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, Concur, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of accounts payable best practices, vendor due diligence processes, and month-end close procedures.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
