About the Role
We are seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist / Billing Coordinator with law firm experience to join a professional legal team. You’ll manage attorney billing, review and prepare invoices, and assist with collections while keeping client information confidential.
Responsibilities
Review and edit pre-bills from attorneys or secretaries
Apply retainer funds and process write-offs
Monitor client billing, accounts receivable (AR), and unbilled fees
Handle high volumes of complex bills, including split-party billing
Collaborate with attorneys and respond to client inquiries
Use billing software such as 3E, TyMetrix, CounselLink, Tracker, or Datacert
Create and distribute monthly reports
Maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications
3+ years of billing or accounting experience in a law firm (mandatory)
Experience with law firm billing software
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Competitive salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Hybrid schedule: 1 day remote after training
