Qualifications

• A Delivery Driver must be at least 21 years old
• Have a clean driving record
• Need to be able to walk up multiple flights of stairs
• Deliver packages up to 50lbs (most are lighter)
• Make more than 150 stops per day
• Locate addresses via GPS and tech
• Must pass a 4 Panel Drug Test
• Excellent Attendance Record
• Work 10 hours per shift, including weekdays, weekends, & holidays (7 days a week, 361 days a year)
• Rest and meal breaks available
• Routes will be similar each day but not always the same
• Training routes issued at start for 2 weeks, then build to a full route

Typical Day as a member of the Packagejet Team

• Arrive at the Grand Rapids Amazon distribution facility by the required time to receive your van assignment
• Attend the shift stand-up meeting, review daily problems and issues
• Receive your route assignment and company provided Smartphone/GPS device
• Perform a pre-trip vehicle inspection
• Deliver up to 250+ packages on your route with pre-determined route and delivery estimates
• Possibly help another driver as directed
• Return the van to the station after refueling (fuel card provided)
• Remove trash & debris from van
• Return Smartphone/GPS scanner device and keys; debrief with manager
• Perform post-trip inspection noting any required maintenance items

Pay: $21.25/hr
