Overview
Route Sales Representatives are responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising Frito-Lay's complete line of products to local stores, including gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores. You will drive a Frito-Lay truck, unload orders, merchandise products, and partner with store managers to increase sales and maintain records throughout the day. This role can open opportunities for growth within PepsiCo.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, sell, and merchandise Frito-Lay products (Lays, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and more) to assigned locations.
- Drive the route, unload orders, and stock shelves according to display guidelines.
- Build relationships with store staff and managers to increase sales and execute national initiatives.
- Attend training to learn the basics of the role and develop driving and selling skills.
- Support team members by running routes and meeting new customers.
- Maintain records and ensure accuracy of orders and schedule adherence.
- Work in a fast-paced, physical environment with possible weekend and holiday hours.
Minimum Qualifications
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other licenses as required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
