Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coach - D1 Training
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide customized personal training programs for individual clients and small groups
- Implement training programs for youth small groups and teams as assigned
- Ensure safe and effective use of equipment
- Motivate and build positive relationships with clients and facility members
- Participate in ongoing personal training growth opportunities and programs
- Obtain and maintain required certificates and licenses
- Various other duties as assigned
A Day In The Life Of A D1 Coach
- You wake up excited to help athletes accomplish their goals and arrive at a state-of-the-art facility with a world-class weight room and indoor turf.
- You are greeted by a team of athletes and review your schedule for the day, aiming to deliver a world-class coaching product.
- You work with 1-on-1 clients across a range of ages and skill levels, writing programming, scheduling sessions, and coaching.
- You coach scholastic teams ages 7-18 and provide coaching across various formats, including 1-on-1, small group, and team settings.
- You end the day receiving feedback from clients who achieved their goals and continue to provide a world-class product.
Qualifications
- MUST: CSCS, SCCC, NASM, ISSA, or CPT certification required
- Athletic/Baseball background
- 1+ year of coaching
- Believes they can be the best coach on staff
- Extensive knowledge of Strength & Conditioning
- Ability to program for 1-on-1 clients
- Positive and energetic personality with a "can do" attitude
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Degree from an accredited university (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field)
- Familiar with the local community; existing relationships with schools, coaches, and sports teams
- Experience in group, 1:1, small group, and team training settings

- COACH: Ability to step in on day 1 and work with anyone across age groups and athlete levels
- TEAM PLAYER: Willingness to train members of all ages and skill levels; capable of coaching 1-on-1, group classes, and semi-private sessions

Compensation and Schedule
- Schedule: Flexible availability throughout the week, including nights and weekends, and at least 10-15 hours per week
- Compensation: $20-$40 per hour
