Overview
The Baseball Performance Coach will have the ability to step in on day 1 and work with any client. D1 Coaches train scholastic athletes ages 6-18 and adult athletes ages 18-80. D1 coaches lead team training for high school select and collegiate teams. D1 coaches also provide 1-on-1 and small group training for adult, scholastic, and professional athletes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide customized personal training programs for individual clients and small groups
- Implement training programs for youth small groups and teams as assigned
- Ensure safe and effective use of equipment
- Motivate and build positive relationships with clients and facility members
- Participate in ongoing personal training growth opportunities and programs
- Obtain and maintain required certificates and licenses
- Various other duties as assigned
Day in the Life
- Work with athletes of various ages and skill levels, delivering world-class programming
- Coach 1-on-1, group classes, and team training as scheduled
- Provide a high-energy, positive coaching environment
Qualifications
- MUST: CSCS, SCCC, NASM, ISSA, or CPT certification required
- Athletic/Baseball background
- 1+ year of coaching
- Believes they can be the best coach on staff
- Extensive knowledge of Strength & Conditioning
- Ability to program for 1-on-1 clients
- Positive and energetic personality with a “can do” attitude
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field
- Familiar with the local community; existing relationships with schools, coaches, and sports teams
- Experience in group, 1:1, small group, and team training settings

Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Flexible availability throughout the week, including nights and weekends, and at least 10-15 hours per week
Compensation: $20-$40 per hour
