This Baseball Performance Coach should have the ability to step in on day 1 and work with any client we throw at them. D1 Coaches train scholastic athletes ages 6-18 and adult athletes ages 18-80. D1 coaches lead team training for high school select and collegiate teams. D1 coaches also provide 1-on-1 and small group training for adult, scholastic, and professional athletes.

Qualifications:

  • MUST: CSCS, SCCC, NASM, ISSA, or CPT certification required
  • Athletic/Baseball Background
  • 1+ year of coaching
  • Believes they can be the best coach on staff
  • Extensive knowledge of Strength & Conditioning
  • Ability to program for 1 on 1 clients
  • Positive and energetic personality with a “can do” attitude

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree from an accredited university (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field)
  • Familiar with the local community; existing relationships with schools, coaches, and sports teams
  • Experience in group, 1:1, small group, and team training settings

In joining our team, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing and providing customized personal training programs for individual clients and small groups
  • Implementing training programs for youth small groups and teams as assigned
  • Ensuring safe and effective use of equipment
  • Motivating and building positive relationships with clients and facility members
  • Participating in ongoing personal training growth opportunities and programs
  • Obtaining and maintaining required certificates and licenses
  • Various other duties as assigned

A Day In The Life Of A D1 Coach:

  • You wake up, excited to help athletes accomplish their goals.
  • You arrive at our state-of-the-art facility.
  • You look at your schedule for the day.
  • You have a few 1 on 1 clients to work with.
  • You end the day with a message from a 1 on 1 client who lets you know they accomplished their goal.

Schedule:

Flexible availability throughout the week, including nights and weekends, and at least 10-15 hours per week to commit to the position.

Compensation:

$20-$40 an hour
