Department: Restaurant Services

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Employment Type: Temporary / Seasonal

Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Reports To: Full-time management

Schedule: Must be able to work weekends and holidays; weekday hours also available. Schedule is subject to change based on weather and guest attendance.

Hours: Flexibility required for weekends, holidays, nights, and seasonal adjustments.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in leading daily restaurant operations.
  2. Enforce procedures and checklists for efficiency.
  3. Set up and break down work stations.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
  5. Knowledge of food products, quality standards, and food preparation methods.
  6. Manage food quality and presentation.
  7. Track all food production in POS system.
  8. Ensure proper portion sizes and food safety protocols.
  9. Assist in other production areas as needed.
  10. Ensure safety standards are met at all times.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  1. Train staff on customer service, food handling, and policies.
  2. Communicate schedules and cover shifts as needed.
  3. Assign work priorities.

Sales & Service:

  1. Supervise daily operations to meet targets.
  2. Resolve customer complaints promptly.
  3. Maintain inventory controls and handle funds accurately.

Routine Maintenance:

  1. Stock and organize presentation areas.
  2. Maintain cleanliness and safety of work locations.
  3. Follow all food safety laws and standards.

Food Quality:

  1. Enforce portion sizes and reduce waste.
  2. Prepare quality food per recipes and instructions.

Collaboration:

  1. Maintain positive working relationships with staff.
  2. Know park attractions to enhance customer service.
  3. Follow all WCS rules and regulations.

Administrative Duties:

  1. Assist in preparing reports.
  2. Complete daily logs accurately.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.
