Job Description For Hardware Engineer
Responsible for the engineering and design of environmental-control systems, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and control techniques. This associate is a FLSP (Front-Line Solutions Provider).

Responsible for the engineering and design of environmental-control systems, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and control techniques. This associate is a FLSP (Front-Line Solutions Provider).
- Location:- Chippewa Falls, WI
- Full-Time
- Professional appearance and presentation at all times. Maintain uniforms (as applicable) to present best face to customer.
- Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
- Review project documents (plans, specifications, addenda, etc.) to design Building Automation systems.
- Create control system submittal using MS-Visio and developed standards.
- Create control system components schedules (Valve, damper, air flow, pipe tap, and others as needed) using MS-Excel and developed standards.
- Create control system sequence of operations and other documentation using MS-Word.
- Communicate as needed with technicians, sales, contractors, engineers, and owners.
- Order and manage material for multiple projects.
- Perform on-site reviews and audits of building systems as needed to complete the engineering process.
- Maintains assigned stock of inventory, company equipment, and documents all related activities.
- Provides sales leads to appropriate personnel.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.
- Records parts, material, labor, and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.
- Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.
- Keeps current on Masters products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
- Provides technical support to customers on assigned projects.
- Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight stays. (15 %)
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
Education/Experience: Associate's degree or technical school certification, or 18+ months of experience in control systems.
Skills: Basic math, reading, writing, and reasoning abilities. Comfortable with interpreting technical instructions and diagrams.
Licenses: Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and meet vision and mobility requirements.
Work Environment: Exposure to mechanical rooms, high-voltage areas, outdoor conditions, and potential hazards like fumes or extreme temperatures.
Location: Based in Madison with in-state travel and occasional out-of-state travel for training or meetings.
