Overview

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop lighting electronics systems for automotive applications, focusing on customer reviews, electronic bench testing, EMC pre-compliance and electronics manufacturing.
  • Work with the team to define quote strategy, lighting system architectures, circuit standardization and technology definition.
  • Implement best practices in hardware engineering and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Proficient in circuit simulation, Worst Case Circuit Analysis, EMC pre-compliance testing, PCB prototyping, Technical Design Reviews, electronics bench testing, etc.
  • Understand and create action plans to meet program milestones.
  • Interface with OEMs as required to resolve design issues and/or promote new design concepts.
  • Collaborate with global expert team to develop new electronic lighting systems.
  • Work jointly with cross-functional teams, including software, optics, and mechanics engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Oversee the hardware design, development, testing, and validation processes in Americas region.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant ISO26262 safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop DVP&R, DFMEA pertaining to electronics.
  • Experience with ISO26262 HW development.
  • Support cost reduction ideas and “Design to Cost” activities.
  • Work with Electronics Manufacturing Suppliers during program launch.
