Raytheon’s Surface Based Effector Production (SBEP) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products. Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.
What You Will Do
- Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Prior hands-on troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
- Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
- Shift Information: 1st shift
What You Will Learn
- One will gain knowledge of various electrical components, Circuit Card Assemblies, RF, analog, digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis
- One will achieve a RTX Core Certification and receive Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Training
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior Engineering experience.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional work experience with any of the following:
- RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing
- Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor’s in Science in Electrical Engineering
- Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystem; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
- Experience with tools: Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, HFSS, ADS, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer.
- Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and GPS receiver subsystems.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, SPC methods, technical writing, formal presentation, and Engineering Change Notices.
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as with a small technical team, providing technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, and proposal support.
