What You Will Do

  • Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Prior hands-on troubleshooting experience is preferred.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
  • Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
  • Shift Information: 1st shift

What You Will Learn

  • Knowledge of various electrical components, Circuit Card Assemblies, RF, analog, digital and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis
  • RTX Core Certification and Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Training

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior Engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional work experience with any of the following:
    • RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and/or digital signal processing
  • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor’s in Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystem; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
  • Experience with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, HFSS, ADS, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer.
  • Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, IMU and GPS receiver subsystems.
  • Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, SPC methods, technical writing, and Engineering Change Notices.
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as with a small technical team, providing technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The range is a good faith estimate for all experience levels. Offers consider role, responsibilities, location, education, and key skills. Annual incentive programs may apply depending on position and eligibility.
