Overview

The Recruitment Consultant role is based in the New York City office of a global GTM-focused recruitment firm. This individual will partner with hyper-growth SaaS and tech clients, leveraging deep industry knowledge to connect exceptional Go-to-Market (GTM) talent with disruptive startups and scaling companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment for GTM functions—such as Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services.
  • Source and engage both active and passive “A-Player” candidates using extensive niche networks and strategic market mapping techniques.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients—typically VC- or PE-backed SaaS firms—to deeply understand their hiring needs and deliver high-impact placements.
  • Meet demanding performance targets, including ambitious commission milestones (top performers have historically generated $1 million+ in annual billings).
  • Actively engage in a structured onboarding programme, including continuous training and progression planning, to ensure rapid ramp-up and growth.
