POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist who responsible for managing key employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, terminations, and leave administration. In addition, this individual would manage a small book of clients. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in employment compliance and passionate about delivering exceptional HR support to our clients and their worksite employees.

PRIMARY DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Coordinate onboarding processes including background checks, drug screenings, E-Verify, and assignment of Workers' Compensation codes.
  • Manage offboarding procedures including separation paperwork and exit documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries related to onboarding and terminations.
Leave Administration
  • Oversee and administer FMLA and other leave of absence requests for client employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and client-specific leave policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication throughout the leave process.
Client Support
  • Build strong relationships with assigned clients, providing timely and accurate HR guidance.
  • Oversee the full benefits cycle, including plan selection, enrollment, administration, and employee education to ensure optimal benefits offerings to full book of clients. Work closely with other internal departments meet the needs of the client on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with employment laws and PEO policies.
  • Support recruitment activities for a select group of PEO clients, including phone screenings and coordinating offer letters.
  • Provide front-line support by handling incoming calls to the main office line and assisting with mail distribution and general office tasks as needed.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain confidential employee records and ensure proper documentation of HR processes.
  • Stay current on employment regulations and best practices relevant to PEO operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, ideally within a PEO or multi-client environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, FMLA, and leave administration.
  • Experience with onboarding tools, background screening, and E-Verify systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in UKG Ready and Microsoft Office Suite.
