As a Part-Time Security Officer, youll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the premises, assisting visitors, and responding to situations with professionalism and care. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with the public and your team, and document your observations. Position Type: Part Time
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any unusual activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns.
Availability across various days and shifts
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
