The Account Manager is responsible for implementing a successful sales strategy within the assigned region, managing a portfolio of clients, and ensuring the highest level of service, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Develop and maintain a strong, long-term relationship with key accounts by understanding their business challenges and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with clients to ensure service quality, address any concerns, and review project progress.
- Proactively identify and resolve client issues, ensuring an elevated level of client satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, safety, logistics, lab, accounting, ER etc.) to ensure the effective execution of cleaning projects, from initial planning to completion.
- Obtaining client site safety procedures and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with the operations team to manage scheduling, staffing, equipment, and materials for each client project.
- Ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue by upselling additional services or expanding the scope of work for existing clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to pursue leads, secure new contracts, and develop strategies to enter new markets.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and service agreements for potential and existing clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry changes and client needs.
5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or operations within the Environmental industry, industrial cleaning, facilities management, or related industry.
Computer Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record with no serious moving violations within the last 3 years.
Work is typically performed in an indoor office environment, some occasional exposure to outdoor elements. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand, walk, talk, and listen; occasionally, the employee may occasionally have to stoop, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds. Employees need manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment and a personal computer, clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities to discern verbal instructions and to communicate effectively with others and visual acuity to comprehend written work instructions and review, evaluate, and prepare a variety of written materials and documents.
