Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and procedures, with proven hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage a small team and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Manage and support audits, tax filings, and budget preparation.
• Optimize and maintain accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including workflows, financial reporting, and integration with other business systems.
• Train and support staff in the use of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive implementation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and executive leadership to support business goals.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
