We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations and drive financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial statements.
- Prepare, review, and present consolidated financial results for management.
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to all audit-related queries.
- Oversee key accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, general ledger, and fixed asset management.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to optimize ERP system functionality and accounting workflows.
- Maintain and enforce robust internal controls across all accounting processes.
- Partner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Collaborate with teams across supply chain and operations to ensure financial alignment with business goals.
- Serve as a key liaison with subsidiaries, ensuring consistency in accounting practices and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Expertise in ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams.
