Title: Accounting Manager

Summary:

We are seeking an Accounting Manager for a newly created role in Ashland. Reporting directly to the CFO, this hands-on leader will oversee key accounting functions, financial reporting, and treasury management, while providing guidance to the accounting team to support the company’s continued growth.

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process and preparation of accurate financial statements
• Manage banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
• Oversee fuel inventory, fixed assets, and related reconciliations
• Support internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance with tax requirements
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities
• Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
