Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Supervise A/P and A/R operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls
• Maintain fixed assets and lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842
• Support financial reporting, budget variance analysis, and preparation of consolidated statements
• Provide audit support for annual financial audit
• Partner with leadership to drive process improvements, enhance workflows, and optimize ERP usage
• Lead, mentor, and support the accounting team as the role transitions into a management capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in nonprofit organizations required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit compliance, and financial reporting
• NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred (recent ERP implementation experience a plus)
