Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager
Location: Mishawaka, IN (Fully Onsite)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000 (Based on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Manage sales tax filings, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
• Lead preparation and review of bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash management.
• Oversee and maintain fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting.
• Manage capital expenditures process and ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with leadership on deferred compensation plans and reporting.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, promoting accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.
• Partner with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GL accounting, bank reconciliations, sales tax, and fixed assets.
• Experience with deferred compensation and capital expenditure management.
• Proficiency in Excel and preferred experience with Sage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
