We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to act as an Assistant Controller! You will join a dynamic and growing industrial real estate investment vertical. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to act as an Assistant Controller. You will join a dynamic and growing industrial real estate investment vertical. This role begins with a focus on transactional accounting and project-based work and offers a clear path to take on expanded leadership responsibilities as the business grows and new funds launch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with government agencies
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Maintain internal books and finances; analyze financial transactions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including corporate accounting (not just public accounting)
• Experience working in a high-growth environment with scaling operations and systems
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and corporate accounting best practices
• Proven track record managing close cycles, reporting, and internal controls accurately and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Collaborative, proactive communicator who can engage effectively at all organizational levels

What You’ll Own

• Lead all corporate accounting functions: AR, AP, general ledger, and month-end close
• Prepare and oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Partner with the SEC reporting team by delivering accurate financial data for external filings
• Implement and improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls to support scaling
• Collaborate across finance, operations, and data center teams to ensure smooth financial workflows
• Support audit and compliance efforts, coordinating with external auditors
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements to streamline accounting as we grow
